Hump day 是美式俚语，指周三。寓意是工作周像座山，周三是山顶，也就是那个“驼峰”。熬过周三，接下来就是下坡路，直奔周末了。这个词最早源于 20 世纪 60 年代的办公室文化，2013 年 GEICO 保险公司那则会说话的骆驼广告（“Mike Mike Mike，猜猜今天是周几？”）把它推向大众视野。从此，hump day 印在咖啡杯、T 恤上，也成了周三午餐特餐的常用噱头。
